Weeping moss widely used by hobbyists in Asia for breeding shrimps as the moss is able to provide a staple food source for the shrimps. The leaf size is approximately 1/2 that of Christmas moss, and the optimum temperature for growth is around 26 - 28 degrees Celsius (78 - 83 Fahrenheit).
Weeping moss included in slow growing aquatic plants but it's very hardy and recommended for shrimps as they love to seek shelter below the moss. The plant able to withstand a great variety of water conditions. Can be tied to driftwood with sewing thread or fishing line and no carbon dioxide injection required for healthy growth.
